From six-month cleanings to braces and implants, most treatment happens right here in our office. Choose a category to see what's involved.
Preventive care
We recommend a visit at least every six months so small problems are caught before they become serious ones. Each exam includes an oral cancer screening, and our dentists will give you a hygiene plan built around your teeth and gums.
Fillings
A cavity keeps growing until it's treated, so it's best to fill it early. We favor tooth-colored composite fillings for front and back teeth: they blend with your enamel, strengthen the tooth, and need less drilling than silver amalgam. If you'd like old amalgam fillings replaced with composite, we can do that too.
Crowns
Crowns (caps) protect teeth that are cracked, badly decayed, discolored or weakened around large fillings. We offer all-porcelain crowns such as IPS Empress and zirconia, and when we use porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns we use high-precious alloys rather than nickel-based metals.
Bridges
A bridge replaces missing teeth by anchoring artificial teeth to crowns on the neighboring teeth. It's cemented permanently, so there's nothing to take out at night.
Root canal therapy
An infected or injured tooth can often be saved instead of pulled. Root canal treatment usually takes one or two visits, and we recommend a crown afterward to protect the tooth.
Dental implants
Implants are a durable, permanent replacement for teeth lost to decay, failed root canals, gum disease or injury, and they look and feel like natural teeth.
Removable partial dentures
A lower-cost alternative to bridges or implants for replacing one or more teeth. Along with traditional metal partials, we offer metal-free acrylic and flexible Valplast partials.
Full dentures
If you've lost all of your natural teeth, modern dentures restore your smile, support your facial muscles, and let you eat and speak with confidence.
Braces and bite correction
Our dentists treat malocclusion including deep bite, open bite and class III bites, and specialize in orthodontics and full-mouth restoration. Come in for a free evaluation and estimate.

For stained or discolored teeth, small gaps, crooked or crowded teeth, and chips or cracks, cosmetic treatment can change how your smile looks as well as how it works.
Veneers
Veneers are thin custom shells bonded to the front of your teeth to cover discoloration, damage or uneven shape. They take two visits and last much longer than bonding.
Gum treatment
Gum disease starts as gingivitis and can progress to periodontitis. Caught early, it can be treated in our office with scaling and root planing. Advanced cases are referred to a periodontist.
Extractions
When a tooth can't be saved, we can remove it here. For severely impacted teeth, or if you prefer general anesthesia, we'll refer you to a trusted oral surgeon.

Caridad Marmolejos, D.D.S. and Manuel Marmolejos, D.D.S. earned their dental degrees at New York University and have spent their careers in general dentistry and orthodontics.
Our office at 125 Hamilton Street is in one of Bound Brook's preserved historic buildings, with its own parking lot and an obstacle-free layout for seniors and patients with disabilities. The whole team speaks English and Spanish.
We also see patients at our sister office, City Dental, at 288 State Street in downtown Perth Amboy.
